HAMER<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Los <strong>Hamer<\/strong> son una de las <strong>tribus<\/strong> m\u00e1s hospitalarias y abiertas de todo el <strong>Valle Omo<\/strong>. MURSI<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La <strong>etnia Mursi<\/strong> habita en chozas y eluden el <strong>rio Omo<\/strong> por temor a la mosca ts\u00e9-ts\u00e9. BORANA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La <strong>etnia Borana<\/strong> se sit\u00faan al sur de la <strong>Regi\u00f3n de Oromo<\/strong>, en la provincia de Sidamo. Es un<strong> pueblo semin\u00f3mada<\/strong>, aunque en los \u00faltimos tiempos est\u00e1n optando cada vez por la agricultura. En la actualidad hay 200.000 personas aproximadamente que se identifican como Boranas.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Un 90% de los borana son musulmanes y casi el 10% restante son cristianos.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><strong>4. SURMA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Como los Mursi, las <strong>mujeres Surma<\/strong> usan discos labiales. KARO<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El territorio de los <strong>Karo<\/strong> est\u00e1 al sureste del <strong>r\u00edo Omo<\/strong>. Decoran sus cuerpos con pinturas, a las que a\u00f1aden flores y ornamentos vegetales muy caracter\u00edsticos de este grupo \u00e9tnico.<\/p>\n<p>La decoraci\u00f3n corporal representa su posici\u00f3n social o alg\u00fan logro alcanzado, y a menudo sirve para resaltar su belleza.<\/p>\n<p>Los apenas mil individuos que quedan viven en peque\u00f1as aldeas a lo largo del <strong>r\u00edo Omo<\/strong>.
