7 corners of the great national parks of the American West

The area of Colorado Plateau gathers some of the most spectacular landscapes of the continent. Who doesn't remember ‘the mesas of Western films, the dramatic changes in elevation of the Grand Canyon – which we will have the privilege of seeing from both sides – or the dramatic shapes in Bryce Canyon or Moab.

The route will normally be accompanied by Ignasi Rovira an experienced guide and professional photographer, so if you enjoy the photograph, travelling this route with Ignasi adds something special.

We've made a selection of seven essential places that we visit on our trip to Grand Canyon of the Colorado River.

Zion National Park, Utah, USA

The imposing red rock, evergreen trees and the bright Virgin River combine perfectly to create a majestic and formidable landscape.

Grand Canyon. Alex Poo

Approaching the northern rim from Kanab will be a privilege, giving us a complete view of this spectacular geographical feature

Bryce Canyon. Esperanza Gueuse

For many, one of the most beautiful parks in the United States. Our walking trails wind around the reddish rock towers. The contrast between the red stone, green vegetation and blue sky delights photography enthusiasts.

Arches National Park. Ignasi Rovira

The Arches National Park It's a place of red rocks and blue sky. The red rock landscape in Arches may seem timeless, dreamy or even from another world. For the well-marked trails of the park, we will have the opportunity to observe arches, towers, pinnacles and rocks.

Mesa Verde. Josep Mestres

In the state of Colorado We will visit the Mesa Verde National Park, where more than 4,800 archaeological sites have been identified and the Pueblo people lived for over 700 years.

Monument Valley. Joan Castellví

It is a landscape straight out of a film; indeed, many scenes from famous American Westerns were shot here. It lies within the Navajo reservation, the country’s largest indigenous nation and consists of enormous rock domes and mesas rising from the valley.

Antelope Canyon. Xavier Cano

This wonderful canyon also belongs to the Navajo people and has formed over thousands of years by flowing water. The colours that appear along the canyon as the light changes throughout the day are particularly striking.
