Hello Mercé, everything went well.
The hotel in Cairo exceeded our expectations. Very good!
The cruise could not have been better: we were the only passengers aboard, almost like a private excursion. The food and excursions were superb. We had time to visit Abu Simbel and Egypt’s great museum, usually packed, but because it is right on the square where the clashes take place, we were the only visitors. Very good. Guides and support staff were there whenever needed. Many thanks.
We were lucky because of the supposed ‘risk’ of visiting during the uprising, with tanks and barbed-wire barriers everywhere. But my country is not very different, so those things do not frighten me, as I said when confirming the booking.
