Update by the Kenyan government on travel restrictions from Spain.
Our local partners in Kenya tell us that, following Spain’s announcement lifting mandatory quarantine for travellers from Kenya, the Kenyan authorities have reciprocated by removing mandatory quarantine on arrival for Spanish travellers.

Kenya
Travel restrictions
- There is no quarantine in Kenya for passengers from Spain.
- There is no quarantine on return to Spain for passengers from Kenya.
Entry restrictions
Arrival in Kenya :
- Fill out an online health form before arrival
- Present a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to flight.
Return to Spain :
- Present a QR code from the Panabios app certifying the PCR test’s validity.
- Present a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to flight.
- Online health form.
Tanzania
Travel restrictions
- There is no quarantine in Tanzania for passengers from Spain.
- There is no quarantine on return to Spain for passengers from Tanzania.
Entry restrictions
Arrival in Tanzania :
- Fill in an online form before arrival, without the need for this form to be submitted 24 hours before arrival in the country (Government Order updated on 04/05/2021)
- Submit a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to arrival
- Rapid test on arrival costing $25, payable by the traveller at the destination.
Return to Spain :
- Present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before the flight
- Online health form.
