Madagascar is a vast island off the African coast, separated from the mainland by the Mozambique Channel. Its rich natural world and distinctive landscapes, including its iconic baobabs, make it a place apart, home to species found nowhere else on Earth.
The ideal destination to connect with nature and discover flora and fauna unique on our planet.

Choose your trip to Madagascar
If you are considering a trip to Madagascar, one of the first decisions is choosing the right route.
For this year 2026 we have prepared two routes through Madagascar for travelers looking for nature and authenticity. The first, Madagascar experience, is a 24-day journey along the island’s west coast and south, through spectacular landscapes, national parks, traditional villages and unspoilt beaches. This demanding itinerary is ideal for a deep immersion in Malagasy diversity. The second option, Remote River Expedition, is shorter at 19 days but just as rich: it combines a journey along the Tsiribihina River, trekking in the Tsingy, nature reserves and an extension to Andasibe National Park. Both trips include camping, local accommodation and cultural experiences.
Each route has its own pace, but all share the same spirit: exploring Madagascar in depth, respectfully and with excitement.

Highlights of each route
Each Madagascar itinerary offers a distinctive experience, from surreal landscapes to encounters with endemic species. Here are their highlights to help you picture each route:
