This route through ancient Persia takes us to sophisticated, age-old cities: Shiraz, Yazd, Isfahan, Tehran and Kerman, as well as the Kaluts Desert. Friendly, cultured and welcoming local people help visitors reflect on this sensitive situation today.
A 9-day route specially designed to celebrate the New Year festivities through a journey rich in cultural variety. The ease of connecting with Iranian people means travellers return home with a very different impression from the one they had before.

Iran is shaped by the weight of its history. It is known as the cradle of Western civilisation and a crossroads for many peoples and cultures.
Travelling to Iran in winter
During the winter in Tehran the mountains in the background show their snowy peaks and it must be taken into account that temperatures at night can be low.
If you're one of those who hate heat, it's your ideal time.
Iran is an enticing destination, particularly in winter, for those wanting to discover its distinctive character and explore its cities without crowds. It also appeals to those seeking an oasis surrounded by desert, with some of the great displays of Islamic architecture no crowd of tourists (local and international) taking pictures.
For photography enthusiasts, winter is the best time to visit Iran, when sunrises and sunsets reveal their full colours.
On our special route to travel to Iran for New Year, we spend New Year’s Eve in Yazd, considered one of the Iranian desert’s most beautiful cities. Yazd lies at 1200 m in the desert and gets its water from a qanats (tunnels excavated to transport water) linking the city to the edge of the nearby mountain Shīr Kūh.

IMPORTANT: Women and men travelling to Iran must follow strict dress rules in public places, especially in mosques and temples.
Women must cover their heads with a scarf of any colour or colours, in cotton, silk or wool depending on the season.
Tops — jackets, shirts, T-shirts or jumpers — should cover the hips. Trousers or a long skirt covering the legs are suitable, even if close-fitting, provided the upper garment covers the hips as described above.
You can wear sandals without socks in summer and there are no problems with makeup.
Men can wear Western clothing, but must always cover their arms and legs in public places.
It is best to avoid low necklines, short sleeves and shorts.
