Best of the trip to Italy:
The way they solved the problem when rough seas and wind prevented us landing on Stromboli on the 23rd. We returned to Lipari disappointed, but our guide understood how much we wanted to visit magical Stromboli and arranged to take us the next day. We could no longer climb at night, but it was a magnificent, mist-free morning.
Suggestions for future trips:
If I had to suggest something, perhaps including the Etna cable car.
