This year's calendar will not be particularly favourable for those hoping for several consecutive days off. 6 December falls on a Saturday and 8 December, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, falls on a Monday. This allows a long weekend, though shorter than in other years.

A chance to discover destinations within easy reach: Finnish Lapland, Algeria, Oman and Mauritania… all waiting for us just a few hours’ flight away.

Finland

By day, we walk through Lapland's taiga forests and snowmobile across Lake Inari. In the evening, conditions permitting, we go out to observe the northern lights.
