Travelling to Vietnam in July and August | Discover Vietnam in summer

Vietnam It is a fascinating destination at any time of year, but the summer months, its low season, offer a chance to explore more peacefully. Fewer tourists and a more relaxed atmosphere make it an ideal time to discover its landscapes and culture.

Vietnam in summer: Rainy season

July and August coincide with Vietnam’s rainy season, with intermittent rain particularly common in the north and south. These showers are usually brief, and although intense, bring cooler conditions and greener and more vibrant landscapes.

This can be an advantage: our summer is low season, with fewer tourists, better flight and accommodation prices and quieter sights. Many activities can continue normally, as rain usually falls in showers rather than lasting all day.

– Trekking on the Chinese border, a perfect choice for those who enjoy hiking and exploring rural communities in the northern mountains.

– Northern ethnic minorities, Halong, the Delta and the temples of Angkor, combining Vietnam with Cambodia’s Angkor temples for a longer, culturally enriching journey.
