What is the best time to travel to Vietnam?
Vietnam is a very large country and the climate varies a lot if you want to do a journey covering the whole country. As it goes from north to south we can observe different climates depending on the time of year. In the south the climate is tropical, with two seasons and little temperature variation between seasons ; the wet season, from May to November, with maximum rains from June to August, and the dry season, from December to April, with higher temperatures.
Vietnam can be visited all year round, but in winter, between November and April, is the best time to visit northern Vietnam
