Along the Nile. Pharaonic Sudan and the Heart of Nubia

Just a few years ago, you could visit the Nubian pyramids and even climb to the top.

Climbing them is no longer allowed, but it is still possible to visit with very few other people around. Judging by the changes we have seen in recent years, tourism is likely to increase soon, bringing restrictions to preserve the site.

Public transport Sudan. An unforgettable encounter for us, too. Desert people show an astonishing ability to fit into any kind of vehicle for long journeys.
