We venture into the land of Mongolia through 7 magnificent photographs that aim to capture its landscapes and ways of life. We know it is only a fleeting glimpse, but for a moment it takes us to vast green spaces, to the world of nomads who move with the seasons, and to some ways of life and customs constantly eroded by the arrival of so-called modernity.
Mongolia is often associated with the Gobi Desert, nomads travelling with their tents and Genghis Khan, once the terror of the steppes. All of that is true, but there is much more. Here are some notes from our travel journal to help you learn more about the country, its customs and way of life.
