TANZANIA. The Great African Migration

February. Special departure guided by a naturalist.

See the Tanzania trip dossier

An exciting time: between mid-February and early March, large herds of wildebeest and zebras move between the south-central Serengeti and the Ndutu plains in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is when wildebeest calves are born, and action is guaranteed: the explosion of life is spectacular. Witnessing this spectacle with a naturalist makes the experience even richer.

WHERE WE STOP
A combination of lodges, permanent camps and campsites. Comfort and closeness to nature.

TRANSPORT
We will use safari-adapted 4×4 vehicles with pop-up roofs. Every passenger will have a window seat.

DIFFERENCE WITH OTHER SAFARIS
The aim is to do more than sightsee in Tanzania: observe herds of herbivores and predators in an area where they gather in large numbers. We reduce driving distances to spend more time with wildlife.

ACCOMPANYING NATURALIST
Travelling with a naturalist who knows the area provides reassurance. Working with the local guide, they will explain what we see and help make each safari a success.
