In Tuareg, as you know, we offer archaeology and history trips, but in this post we want to take a different kind of journey. We are travelling back in time to unearth our own history: more than three decades of passion for the culture of travel.
Before the arrival of the 3.0 world, Viajes Tuareg already existed. Much has changed since those almost legendary days when we organised coach trips to the sound of “London Calling” and photocopied our first travel catalogue with plenty of creativity and few resources. Coaches now have Wi-Fi, music plays in MP3 format, and photocopies are no longer part of daily life.
Our values and the spirit behind them remain unchanged: authenticity, with memorable, meaningful experiences; simplicity, valuing balance and common sense over extravagant or imposed comfort; sustainability, giving up some travel habits to reduce environmental impact; and trust and safety, built on more than 30 years organising trips and expeditions to remote destinations.
