Iran is one of the most historically rich destinations you can visit. It is known as the cradle of Western civilisation and a crossroads for many cultures and peoples. Its geographical position and vast underground oil reserves make Iran a key player in international relations. Fortunately, in recent years its differences with other powers and states have been resolved peacefully through negotiation, leaving dark chapters of its history behind.

In Tuareg, as you know, we offer archaeology and history trips, but in this post we want to take a different kind of journey. We are travelling back in time to unearth our own history: more than three decades of passion for the culture of travel.

We want to share with all of you our values and philosophy at Viajes Tuareg. We illustrate these ideas with some of the best photographs our customers send us year after year. Many enter the competition we organise each year; others send them simply for the pleasure of sharing beautiful moments and landscapes from their travels.
