Why do August places sell out so quickly?

August is the traditional travel month, when most of us have holidays and favourable weather makes many destinations appealing. Competition for places is therefore fierce.

At Viajes Tuareg, we work with small groups of 8 to 12 people, allowing personal attention, flexible itineraries and a more authentic experience. It also means places are limited.

How much time do I have to decide?

The answer is simple: the sooner, the better. These routes will soon fill up. Several August departures are already fully booked.
If you see a trip you like, don't think twice. The Last places to travel in August are like tickets for the band you have always wanted to see: before you know it, they have sold out.

Why travel with us in August?

Small groups
We travel in groups of between 2 and 12 people to make the experience more authentic, while allowing us flexibility. No 50-person buses or rigid itineraries.

Expert local guides
All our guides are carefully selected locally. Committed to sustainable tourism, they know special places, the best times to visit monuments and restaurants serving excellent food.

Carefully planned itineraries
Each route combines culture, nature and time to explore independently. Every year, customer comments and suggestions help us improve our itineraries.

Sustainability and respect
We support responsible tourism, collaborating with local communities and preserving the cultural and natural heritage of each destination we visit.

What destinations still have places available?

Availability changes constantly. Although most August itineraries are fully booked, places remain in destinations as varied as:

Each trip still has places for the first and second weeks of August. Don’t leave it until the last minute: there are few left, and we don’t know how long they will last.

Highlights for the first week of August

August is ideal for some destinations: mountain gorillas in Uganda, great safaris in southern Tanzania, or spectacular hiking in Madeira, Slovenia and Albania’s Dinaric Alps. Our routes combine nature, adventure and unforgettable scenery.

For those looking for great trips, Guatemala surprises with its colonial cities, lakes and Mayan jungles, while Brazil invites to explore the Amazon, the fauna of the Pantanal and the paradisiacal beaches of the Atlantic.
