Dear participants in the Photo Contest 2013. After several rounds of voting, we now have the twenty (22, in fact) finalist photographs, which we are taking to our “expert jury“ to decide the prizes. In this edition we have had 175 participants and almost 850 images.
In this first stage of voting, we are the ones who are working on Viajes Tuareg. We start with all the photographs received and vote repeatedly until we reach the finalists. The criteria are as varied as the 10 people voting: some demand high quality; others value originality of subject. The most practical look for photographs that explain the trip to future travellers… Debatable opinions, of course, but they guarantee a Competition open and plural.
Once these photographs have been chosen, they are handed over to the jury to finally decide on the awards. The jury is a professional photography of recognised standing, whom we ask only to reward the images they like best and explain their decision.
