The time has come to announce the winner of the twelfth prize draw for feedback collected through our Satisfaction survey after completing a trip.
Winner of the twelfth Viatges Tuareg feedback prize draw
The winner is Emilio Fernandez with his comment on the trip to Thailand, Bangkok, trekking among ethnic minorities and southern beaches.
The best of the trip to Thailand:
The people in our group, with whom we really hit it off. Staying in cabins close to nature and local people. Snorkelling around the islands. The kayak trip. Crossing the river on an elephant.
Suggestions for future trips:
The worst thing about the trip was the waits at the airport of Istanbul. Otherwise, I think the itinerary is good. Trekking is quite tough in the rainy season. We had a few falls because the ground was muddy and slippery.
Impressions of the trip of interest to other travelers:
An intensive, varied trip starting in Bangkok, a vast, cosmopolitan city whose many markets are ideal for shopping. In Chiang Mai You see the country’s most impressive monuments, including countless pagodas. Three days of trekking with nights in cabins are unforgettable. Finally, a few days in Krabi visiting nearby islands provide the most relaxing part of the trip.
