Our collaborator Ignasi Rovira will soon be running an interesting photography course travel. Ignasi has traveled all over the world and guided groups of Viajes Tuareg on a large number of photography tours and trips, always ensuring that travellers return delighted.
Our photo contest Our travels continue, and we are ready to announce an initial selection of images going through to the next round: 100 great photographs taken in every corner of the planet.
We have to thank all participants. We've received over 800 photos! So we were not exaggerating when we said this initial selection was very difficult, both because of the number of entries and their quality.
We've talked about Viajes Tuareg Photography and Video Competition on other occasions: like proud parents, we always find a good excuse to bring it up in conversation. This time we want to show you some of the photographs arriving in our inbox to encourage you to take part. You probably already know how to submit your entries, the requirements and the competition rules. So let’s enjoy some of the images that, after an initial selection, we will present to the jury for the 2015 competition.
Our partner in Viajes Tuareg Joan Bartomeu has just returned from his trip to Sri Lanka and brings us fresh photographs of this beautiful Asian destination.
On his trip, he visited important temples and palaces listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, saw Asian elephants in their natural habitat in national parks, and ended his journey with a well-deserved rest on the secluded, idyllic beaches of the south coast.
We have asked Joan to answer the questions we normally ask our customers after a trip. And we've added some more that don't appear in the satisfaction questionnaire usual. We are keen to hear his thoughts on the trip and find out more.
Once again, we invite you to take part in the Viajes Tuareg Photography Competition. We know that many of you love travel with the camera at the ready, because you take great photos and we want to reward you. Don’t miss this new chance to share your creations and perhaps win a generous cash prize.
If you travelled with us in 2014, you can take part in our ctravel photography course by sending your images to concurso@tuareg.com.
Images taken on a trip booked with Viajes Tuareg during 2014, submitted in digital format (not as prints or slides), with a minimum size of 15 × 20 cm and a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. A maximum of 5 works per participant, none previously published or awarded a prize.

He’s not in the photographs because he’s the one taking them. We met Luis in Mongolia and we were fascinated by his work and his character: the quintessential photographer.
And we're happy, very happy that he's the one who decides the prizes Photography competition This year. A small luxury with which we want to thank you for your participation.
