Ethiopia in June, Milhela in Axum and annular eclipse

The medieval splendour of Gondar, the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela and the islands of Lake Tana: Africa’s rich history, carved into unique monuments

Celebrations always help to beautify the places visited. This time, our trip to Ethiopia: single departure on 12 June, will coincide with the distinctive night-time ceremony of the Milhela in Axum and the little-known celebration of anniversary of King Lalibela in a city that bears his name.
Weather permitting, the highlight of the trip will be an annular eclipse that we can observe from Lalibela on the last day.

The legendary Tea Horse Road

This legendary route will introduce us, guided by a Spanish-speaking guide with expert knowledge of Tibet, the regions of Yunnan and Sichuan. The 'other' Timkat Celebration on the shores of Lake Ziway

The “other” Timkat on the shores of Lake Ziway

The celebration of the Epiphany with Timkat in Ethiopia is not exclusive to the north of the country. On this trip, we suggest travelling with our guide, a Spanish resident in Gondar, who will help us experience a genuine celebration first hand in Ziway, on the shores of the lake in the south of the country.

We will complete the trip with a tour of the most emblematic places in the southern part of Ethiopia and visiting some markets.

Cities and natural parks of the former Yugoslavia

Cities and natural parks of the former Yugoslavia

A few years ago. We set off to discover the Balkans, its fascinating history and incredible landscapes. We have continued exploring the area’s rivers, lakes, peaks and historic cities, and it still amazes us. Today we can present our new route through Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro, an itinerary that combines nature and culture, outside the conventional tourism routes.

Along with its neighbours in the Balkans, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo are among Europe’s least-known countries.

With notable cultural differences among them, these territories share a common history still very evident in its streets. We will travel from Serbia to Kosovo via Montenegro, exploring their main cities and walking through their valleys and around their rivers and lakes, discovering an impressive cultural and natural heritage outside the usual tourist routes.

Group trips for an unforgettable New Year's Eve

More and more travellers prefer to spend the New Year's Eve instead of opting for a traditional celebration. And we agree that celebrate New Year's Eve in front of the pyramids of Meroe in Sudan is much better than eating the grapes with Ramón García.

And get rid of the classic characters New Year's Eve is not the only reason travel at this time of year; sharing the experience with a group of people keen to explore the world and experience new things is what really makes a trip unforgettable. As always, we favour small groups, which helps the group bond and offers a more personal, intimate experience.
